Two years ago some famous women were angry because Mani-Cam only filmed their manicure and their jewels during red carpet of Hollywood.

Nowadays famous continue fighting for their rights. Neither cameras that was in the red carpet didn't look up and down at women. Cate Blanchett said: “Do you do this to men too?”.
“This is an strange case of occidental world in that now is considerad acceptable reduce at inteligent and successful women at participating in a beautiful competition”, said The Guardian, Hadley Freeman. 

We hope that the media will not judge them only for their dresses and that they are praised for their work. Hollywood actresses announced their participation in the march of women on January 21 in Washington.

A 16 year old girl  dies drowned in the pool of Marina d´or

A Spanish young girl and neighbour of Madrid died drowned in our locality. The moment of the accident occured at 20.40 hours of the 4 of April in the pool of a spa in Marina d´or, his arm stuck  in the pool while she was diving and she couldn´t get outside the pool.

A lifeguard informed of the accident at the service of emergency, the SAMU tried revive the girl, but the SAMU couldn´t revive her.

This term each group is going to create an ONLINE NEWSPAPER. To do this you have to click on the link at the bottom of this page and you will go to a web page called: MAKEMYNEWSPAPER.

In every newspaper there must be the following types of news:

- SCHOOL NEWS

- LOCAL NEWS

- REGIONAL NEWS

- NATIONAL NEWS

- INTERNATIONAL NEW

- SPORTS NEWS

- CULTURAL NEWS

The COORDINATOR  in each group will organise and distribute the work among all the members of the group.

HOW TO WRITE A PIECE OF NEWS

A news article is a type of informative text so you have to give objective, specific information.

1.- PLANNING YOUR ARTICLE: RESEARCH THE TOPIC

In order to write a credible, well-structured article you have to find information  about the topic.

Begin by asking you the 5 or 6 WHs

What- what happened?

When- When did it happen?

Where- Where did it happen?

Who- Who was involved?

Why- Why did it happen?

How- How did it happen?

2.- WRITING YOUR ARTICLE

Once you have gathered the most relevant information you have to start writing the article.

Write a headline (titular) and start the text with a strong leading sentence, a clear, strong sentence to grab the reader´s attention and interest . You should give all the important information at the top of the text and then follow with the additional information.

3.CHECK YOUR ARTICLE

Once you have written you article revise it to check: grammar, spelling, .... Also, make sure you have given the most relevant information. You should read all the articles in your group to revise them.
